How to set up OpenVPN for iOS

1 To install VPN via OpenVPN on your iOS device like iPhone or iPad, download ‘OpenVPN Connect’ app from the App Store:

 

 

2 Connect your smartphone or tablet to your computer, sync with iTunes, open the tab Apps, then File Sharing. Select OpenVPN and click Add:

 

 

 

3 Now you need to add one of Whoer VPN configuration files (.ovpn) that you obtained by email.

 

 

 

4 Check that the message «New profiles are avavilable» appeared on screen.

 

 

 

5 If everything is OK, hit the green ‘+‘ button to approve the settings. For connection/disconnection just select ON/OFF in the OpenVPN Connect app.

 

To check your connection and make sure that you work via Whoer VPN, point your browser to whoer.net.
